The Gosport Shed project was started by Martin Corrick with great assistance from many individuals and organisations, including Gosport Voluntary Action, Gosport Older Persons Forum, Gosport Borough Council, Hampshire County Council, Councillor Bob Forder, Caroline Dinenage MP, Fareham and Gosport CCG, BrendonCare, SSAFA, Southern Co-operatives, HMS Sultan, the Round Table, BBC Solent, ASDA, Gosport Road Racers, Waitrose, the Royal Navy Submarine Museum, Gosport Rotary Club, Co-op Funeral Care, Rowner Rd, the Portsmouth News, Aeropark and Taylor-Wimpey.

We now have over 100 members, and in October 2014 we moved to a building at the north end of St Vincent College, Gosport.
